Executive Branch Study Resources
PThe Executive Branch is one of the three branches of government in the federal (national) government of the United States. At its head is the President of the United States who is both the Commander-in-Chief of the military and the Head of State.
The President's most important and primary job is to make sure laws are being followed in the country. Obviously he (or she) cannot do this by themselves, so the President relies on many executive agencies to make sure this is happening.
